K-9 Patrol Unit
In 1999 K-9 Officer "Cole" joined the department and met his partner Officer Halsted. The two of them worked together for the following three years until 2002 when Officer Halsted was assigned to a special unit.
Officer "Cole" was then assigned a new partner Officer LaFrance. The two of them went through an extensive training program and became certified as a narcotics detection team. Working together they have taken "a bite out of crime" by getting dangerous drug off the streets.
