Sewer
The Sewer department provides the citizens of Poulsbo and the surrounding community with quality domestic wastewater service in concert with federal, state and local regulatory requirements together with associated responsibilities including the planning, design and expansion of the utility in support of the short and long term goals of the City and the maintenance, replacement and upgrade of utility infrastructure.
The City currently provides service to approximately 2,125 residential and commercial utility customers located primarily within the city limits of Poulsbo.
The sewer department provides for the delivery of the collection and treatment of sewage for the citizens of the City of Poulsbo. The collection consists of approximately twenty-seven (27) miles of collection system main, providing collection of sewage from the respective drainage basins throughout the City. The sewer department performs inspections and cleaning of sewer main lines, manhole inspection and general operation of the sewer pump stations.
