Water
The Water Department provides the Citizens of Poulsbo and the surrounding community with quality domestic water service in concert with federal, state and local regulatory requirements together with associated responsibilities including the planning, design and expansion of the water utility in support of the short and long term goals of the City and the maintenance, replacement and upgrade of utility infrastructure.
The City is dedicated to providing water that exceeds the quality requirements set forth by the Department of Health and is always striving to enhance and protect our water quality.
The Water Department is primarily responsible for water supply, treatment and distribution. This includes collecting and testing water samples, chemical treatment and maintenance of the water system to include pumps, electrical motors, fire hydrants and water pipe repairs.
