	Animal License information

All dogs and cats over the age of six months residing within the city limits of Poulsbo are required to be licensed. Animal licenses are valid from the time they are issued through the following June. Renewals are due by the end of June.

Cats:
Spayed/Neutered $ 5.00
Not Spayed/Neutered $35.00

Permanent License Fee: **
Spayed/Neutered Dogs $6.00
Spayed/Neutered Cats $3.00

Lost/Replacement Tags $ 3.00

Business License Application

Business licenses are required for businesses conducting business within the city limits of Poulsbo. Licenses are required prior to conducting business and are valid from date of issuance through December 31st .   Additional information such as an alarm registration card and/or building interior layout may be required prior to issuance.  Renewals will be mailed and are due no later than January 31st each year to avoid a $10.00 per month penalty.

Business license applications are available on our website, or at the City Clerk's office. Completed applications should be submitted to the City Clerk's office and take approximately ten days to process.

* Available to previously licensed businesses that are located outside the city limits and that do not conduct any business in Poulsbo until after July 1st of any given year.

** Valid any ten days within a three month period. Non-renewable.
