Whether your sport is basketball, softball, lacrosse, tennis, soccer, or even pickleball, you'll love playing in a Poulsbo Parks and Recreation sports program. We have programs for everyone - ages 1-100+.

Our summer coed slowpitch league is ideal for friends, families, and business to relax and compete through the summer.   Weekday evening games, held on NK fields (NKHS and KHS softball fields), using USSSA coed rules.  No stats are kept, USSSA officiated games, and great fields make this an opportunity for everyone to enjoy!

Signup online or come in to Parks and Rec and sign up.  Completed roster, signed by all players is due prior to taking the field for your first game.  A minimum down payment of $100 is required to be placed on the schedule for the first week.  Payment in full is required by Friday, July 10th.

Adult Sailing Classes at the Port of Poulsbo!!

Classes are filling quickly!!  Call Parks and Rec and reserve your opportunity for experience sailing this summer!

Summer is the perfect time to get on the water and experience small boat sailing!  Our program offers evening sessions on Tuesdays and Thursday, 5:30-8:30 and Saturday sessions 9am till noon.  6 sessions spread over 2 weeks, operating out of FJ's or similar centerboard dingies.  We have great instructors, excellent equipment, and we are looking for you at the Port of Poulsbo!  Register online for either or both of the following classes:

Session 1:  July 14-25, $199

Session 2:  July 28-Aug 8, $199

Open Gym Volleyball (16 yrs+) has been suspended for now.  We would appreciate your input on a weekend day/time that would would work for our adult volleyball players!  Call 360-731-1938, Joe, and let me know.


Open gym Basketball (18 yrs +) ongoing at Poulsbo Middle School, Sunday evenings, 6-8pm.  $3 drop in fee, paid at the gym, cash only.


Open gym Pickleball!!!  Sundays, Poulsbo Middle School, 3:45-5:45pm.  $3 drop in fee, paid at the gym, cash only.  Bring your paddles and experience a great game started here in the Northwest!

Summer 2015 Volleyball Clinics!!

We had to cancel our July clinic at KMS due to losing the school to repairs this summer. But, our August 10-13 volleyball clinic will be a great one!!  Poulsbo Middle School, August 10-13.  Beginning skills, 10am till noon, and intermediate/adv skills, 1-3pm.  This is a great opportunity to prep for school tryouts, or our fall league!!

High School Sail Racing has returned to the Port of Poulsbo!!

The Olympic Sailing Foundation and Poulsbo Parks and Recreation are working together to offer a Spring High School Sailing program!  Our club name, Dogfish Sail Racing team, will practice at the Port of Poulsbo, with practices scheduled for Mondays and Wednesday, 3-5:30pm.  A variety of regattas will be scheduled weekends over the next 3 months.  Initial registration fee, to cover power boat expenses, insurance and administration, will be $129 per participant.  Additional per regatta fees will be required and handled by the instructors. 

Our first practice!!  Wednesday, Feb 18, 3pm, at the Port of Poulsbo.  Come ready to go on the water!  All registration paperwork must be submitted and payment complete at Parks and Recreation prior to going on the water.
