Community Oriented Policing means forging a partnership and relationship between the police and community to control crime. Problem Oriented Policing means focusing on a problem and devising a strategy that brings available resources to bear to arrive at a long-term solution.
In an attempt to maximize our effectiveness within our “logistic constraints”, our geographical area our officers will be divided into three working areas - Sectors. The three or four officers assigned to each Sector will then be assigned a smaller focus area within their Sector.
